Within 24 hours, nine civilians were injured by mine explosions planted by the Houthi militia in the governorates of Al-Jawf, Marib and Sana’a.
The Yemeni Landmine Observatory said that the number of victims of a Houthi mine explosion in a civilian transport vehicle belonging to the citizen (Ahmed Hamad Al-Shaabi) in Al-Jawf rose to five wounded.
The observatory indicated that the mine exploded in the car of the popular citizen while it was passing on the desert road in the “Khub Wal Sha’af” district in Al-Jawf.
In Marib Governorate, three children (Abdul-Rab Hussein Krishan, Ghamdan Krishan, and Naji Hussein Al-Masri) were injured as a result of the explosion of three mines in the Al-Mahjaza area of Serwah district, west of the governorate.
The citizen (Sam Muhammad Muhammad Al-Hunaishi) was also injured by a Houthi mine explosion while he was working on his farm in the Al-Madfoun area in the Nehm district, east of Sanaa governorate, according to the observatory.
The Houthi militia continues to plant mines extensively in public places, roads and pastures, causing the death and injury of tens of thousands of citizens.
