A fifty-year-old Yemeni succeeded in achieving his dream, and graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree, after 32 years of waiting.

“Saad Muhannad Suleiman Muhannad Al-Jedhi,” 53, who comes from Qishn District in Al-Mahra Governorate, managed to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Open Education “distance” in a batch of “promising fingerprints”.

The Dean of the College of Education in Al-Mahra Governorate, and the Coordinator of Open Education – the governorate branch, Dr. Adel bin Maili said in a press statement that the conditions of life and the geographical distance between Al-Mahra and the governorates of Aden and Hadhramaut in the past periods prevented “Al-Jedhi” from continuing his education.

It is noteworthy that the branch of the College of Open Education in Al-Mahra was established in 2017, which enabled Al-Jedhi to continue his education journey since graduating from high school in 1989, that is, 32 years ago.
