A government official revealed the truth about the news circulating about the control of the National Army forces, backed by the popular resistance, on the strategic “Labanat” camp, in Al-Jawf Governorate (Northern Yemen).
Yahya Qammeh said; Director of the Information Office in Al-Jawf Governorate, there is no truth to the news that talks about the liberation of Al-Labanat camp from the grip of the Houthi militia.
And he added in a tweet monitored by “The Yemeni Scene”: “The last legitimate leader who trampled with his pure foot the building blocks after the camp fell into the grip of the Houthi militia, is the martyr Amin Al-Waeli.”
And last March, the commander of the Sixth Military Region, Major General Amin Al-Waeli, was martyred during the battles waged by the National Army against the Houthi coup militia.
On Tuesday, the National Army forces, backed by the popular resistance, managed to liberate the Al-Aqsha and Al-Nadr mountains and reached the outskirts of the strategic Al-Labanat camp.
The Media Center of the Armed Forces said earlier that the heroes of the army, backed by the Popular Resistance, carried out a successful raid on a number of sites where the Iranian-backed Houthi militias are stationed and inflicting human and material losses on them, east of Al-Hazm city.
