Field sources revealed that a Houthi leader was killed, along with his son, during the raging battles in the west of Marib Governorate, northeast of Yemen.
The sources said that the Houthi leader, Abdul-Malik Al-Mutawakil, was killed during the battles of the past two days, in the Al-Kasara front, west of Marib Governorate.
The sources pointed out that the leader Al-Mutawakkil, who was impersonating a brigadier, was killed alongside his son yesterday, as he was participating in the battles of Marib, after he gave up his previous profession.
In addition, Houthi activists mourned the leader, Al-Mutawakkil, who confirmed his death in the Marib battles last Monday.
It is noteworthy that Al-Mutawakel worked as a lawyer before he became one of the field leaders of the Houthi militia.
A number of fronts in Marib Governorate have witnessed violent battles for about 8 continuous months, during which the Houthi militia lost hundreds of dead and wounded, including prominent leaders.
