Informed sources revealed that a prominent leader loyal to the Houthi militia was killed yesterday, Thursday, in the capital, Sanaa, which is under the control of the militias.
The sources said that the leader, called Abu al-Karar Saad al-Marani, was killed by his bodyguard in the Tahrir neighborhood in Sana’a.
The sources reported that Houthi militia forces arrested the bodyguard after he killed Al-Marani.
The sources concluded by saying that Al-Marani works as a security supervisor in the Hawth District in Amran Governorate.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia is witnessing major conflicts between its leaders, which caused the killing and assassination of a number of them.
