The National Center of Meteorology issued an alert regarding the weather in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah today – God willing – that included rainy thunder clouds, the effects of which include active surface winds.
The center indicated that the case, which includes the governorates of Al-Mahd and Wadi Al-Far`, begins at 1 pm and continues until 9 pm.
In its report on the weather for today, the Saudi Meteorological Center expected that parts of the north, east and center of the Kingdom would be affected by dusty plankton with a gradual decrease in temperatures, while thunderstorms are expected on the heights of the regions of Jizan, Asir, Al Baha extending to the heights of the Makkah region.
The opportunity is also ripe for the formation of cells of thunderclouds on parts of the heights of the Medina region, while the winds are active on the north and center of the Red Sea, which leads to high waves.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 25-45 km/h, and the wave height will be from one to two meters up to two and a half meters on the central part. The Arabian Gulf is northeasterly at a speed of 15 – 3 km/h, the wave height is from one to two meters, and the state of the sea is medium.
