Today, Thursday, a Yemeni astronomer revealed significant changes and rainy weather in the coming days.
The astronomer, Adnan Al-Shawafi, explained, in a communiqué he was briefed by Al-Mashhad Al-Yemeni, the details of a “limited-scale rain situation and the most important forecasts and indicators of weather until the end of next week for Yemen.
He expected that the situation will be clear during the first half of the next week with better rainfall than in the past days, but the precipitation may not cover all areas and the expected coverage rate of precipitation by the end of next week (Friday, October 8, 2021).
He pointed out that the precipitation covers a percentage of 50 to 75% of the western and southwestern mountainous heights, and the percentage of precipitation coverage is from 30 to 50% in the highlands, eastern plateaus and coastal areas in general, whether western – south – eastern, and for the interior plateaus, precipitation is expected. Covers only 20-40%.
And he pointed out that the percentage is not very high, because it is during the next 9 days, but it is a significant improvement compared to the semi-dryness of the past days, and with regard to the expectations of precipitation on the deserts, it is very few and semi-dry.
He called on all citizens to be vigilant.
In the same context, the Yemeni National Center of Meteorology expected variable rains on the western and southern mountainous heights and coastal plains during the coming hours.
