On the day and month: Some narrators said that it was on the second of Rabi’ al-Awwal, and others said that it was on the fourth, and some said that it was on the eighth, and some of them said that it was on the twelfth, and some of them said that it was on the seventeenth of Rabi’.

And some others said that in the month of Ramadan.

I mean, no one confirmed his birthday.

As for the year in which he was born, some of them said that it was in the year of the elephant, and historians differed in determining the year of the elephant, some of them said 570 AD and others said 571 AD, and there is no accurate account of when the elephant incident occurred.

And some others said that the birth of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was ten years after the Year of the Elephant, and some specified more years.

Conclusion: Celebrating an alleged prophetic birth is a lie and an investment myth for the thieves of Bani Hashim.

It was invented for political reasons by al-Mu’izz al-Fatimi during the rule of Cairo, and because he did not know a specific day.

As for the Shiites of Iran, to this day they still consider his birthday to be on the 17th of Rabi’.
