After the Mohammed bin Zayed deal, economic talks between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and a Saudi minister meets Erdogan’s deputy


Anadolu Agency revealed Turkish-Saudi economic talks, one day after a meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.

The Turkish agency said that Turkish Vice President Fuad Aktay met yesterday, Thursday, Saudi Trade Minister Majid Al-Qasabi, and discussed with him bilateral relations between the two countries.

The agency stated that the meeting took place at the Istanbul Convention Center, on the sidelines of the eighth edition of the “Halal Products Exhibition”, which was launched in the Turkish city.

The Turkish agency indicated that the meeting dealt with commercial relations in particular, while Saudi Arabia did not comment on this meeting.

This meeting comes one day after a meeting between Turkish President Erdogan and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, in Ankara, to enhance support for the Turkish economy and closer cooperation between the two countries, and an agreement to establish a $10 billion fund to support investments in Turkey.
