Governor Al-Bahsani, along with Hadramout’s Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Barzeq, toured a number of neighborhoods in the city of Mukalla, learning about the extent of damage to public and private properties, as a result of the torrential rains that have flowed since yesterday evening, as a result of our country being affected by the humid tropical wave.
The Governor of Hadhramaut confirmed that he gave directives to the military and security agencies, offices and civil institutions related to public works, roads, hygiene, improvement, water and sanitation, to start work and provide assistance to citizens, rescue them and open roads for passing citizens, and directed the governorate’s representative for technical affairs to submit an integrated report on the damages and their inventory, so that they can The power of restoring the infrastructure to what it was.
The governor commended the efforts of the youth and the volunteer teams that quickly took the initiative to provide assistance to citizens and preserve public and private properties, urging them to make more efforts and support the military, security and civil agencies in their tasks to unify joint work with the aim of helping citizens and removing harm from them, calling on contractors to contribute their equipment in this.
