The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, called on the international community, the United Nations, UN and US envoys, and human rights organizations to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, and to leave the square of silence regarding the daily crimes and violations committed by the Houthi terrorist militia.

In a statement carried by the official Yemeni News Agency, the Minister of Information said that this international silence serves as a green light for further military escalation, killing and displacement of Yemenis, by the Iranian-backed militia.

And he warned of new waves of displacement of thousands of families, and second and third waves of displacement of families residing in the camps for the displaced in the districts of western Shabwa governorate and southern Marib governorate, in light of the Houthi escalation.

Al-Eryani pointed out that the waves of displacement in those directorates came against the backdrop of the Houthi militia’s escalation, its systematic targeting of civilians, and its indiscriminate bombing of Yemeni cities, villages, and homes with various types of weapons, including ballistic missiles and drones.
