The Houthi coup militia announced, late on Sunday evening, that its forces were subjected to a series of air strikes carried out by fighters of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Marib Governorate (eastern Yemen).
Al-Masirah channel, which is speaking on behalf of the Houthi militia, said that the coalition warplanes targeted with about 21 raids the militias’ sites and military reinforcements in the Abdiya district, south of Marib.
The coalition warplanes also targeted, with several air raids, the military movements of the Houthi militias in the districts of Mahlia and Al-Juba, south of Ma’rib Governorate.
Earlier, the spokesman for the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Brigadier Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that the coalition’s air operations over the course of 18 days had stopped the Houthi militia’s storming of the Abdiya district.
Al-Maliki said that the coalition carried out (118) attacks to protect Yemeni citizens in Abdiya during the past 96 hours, destroying (15) military vehicles of the Houthi militia, and human losses of more than (400) terrorist elements.
In a related context, the National Army announced that it had thwarted the offensive attempts of the Iranian Houthi militia on several fronts, south of Ma’rib Governorate.
The media center of the armed forces said that the battles that took place on the southern fronts in Marib in the past hours, resulted in the death and injury of many members of the Houthi militia and the destruction of their vehicles and equipment, by the fire of the heroes of the army and the resistance in separate locations.
