Informed sources reported, today, Wednesday, that Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the so-called Supreme Political Council, receives his monthly salaries, along with the rest of the appropriations, from the Office of the Presidency of the Republic on a regular basis.
The sources told Al-Mashhad Al-Yemeni that Al-Mashat directs large transfers and expenses to Houthi leaders, close to the Houthi militia, and tribal sheikhs.
The sources noted that the least employee in the Presidency of the Republic receives more than 300 thousand riyals per month.
Al-Mashat had apologized to state employees in Sana’a and the governorates under the control of the militia, for not being able to pay half a salary every two months.
It is worth noting that the last half of the salary received by state employees in Sanaa and the governorates under the control of the militia was six months ago, a few days before Eid al-Adha.
