Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, the former Yemeni foreign minister, hinted at the despair of Yemenis that the world was not serious about stopping the war, despite spending hundreds of millions.

And he said in a tweet on his account on the micro-blogging site “Twitter”, which was monitored by “The Yemeni Scene”, “Since the beginning of the Yemen crisis, hundreds of millions have been spent by countries and organizations on multiple parallel centers, organizations and paths to solve it without achieving any benefit from it.”

He added, “While the first was directing it towards development projects that alleviate the suffering of the war, the Yemenis would feel the world’s seriousness in alleviating their suffering and pushing them to negotiate to stop the war and lift the siege.” as he put it.

This comes after criticism directed at the humanitarian relief funds received by organizations in the name of Yemen, while three quarters of them go as operating expenses, and only crumbs reach the needy, in light of the worst humanitarian crisis in the world experienced by millions of Yemenis.
