Algeria defeated Djibouti 4-0, in the match that brought them together today, Friday, in the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The players of the “Desert Warriors” team were signed by Youssef Belaili, Said Benrahma, Sofiane Feghouli and Islam Slimani in the 29th, 40th, 42nd and 87th minutes, respectively, of the match that took place at Cairo International Stadium.
After this victory, the Algerian team raised its score to 13 points, and tops the list of the first group for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, two points ahead of runner-up Burkina Faso.

Only the group leaders qualify for the final round of qualifiers, which includes a playoff, the winner of which will qualify for the finals in Qatar next year.
