America comments on the “outrageous” attack in Saudi Arabia and announces its solidarity with 10 people


Today, Sunday, the US State Department condemned the “outrageous” attack launched by the Houthi militia on King Abdullah Airport in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.

US State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a tweet on Twitter: “We express our solidarity with the 10 people who were injured, without any reason other than that they seek to travel or earn a livelihood.”

On Friday, the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the fall of a booby-trapped march on King Abdullah Airport in Jizan, launched by the Houthis. The coalition later revealed the destruction of a second booby-trapped march, which tried to target civilians at the airport.

The official spokesman for the coalition forces, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that “the attempt of the hostile attack resulted in 10 casualties among civilians, passengers and airport workers, as follows: 6 cases of passengers and airport workers of Saudi nationality, and 3 cases of airport workers of Bangladeshi nationality, And one case of an airport employee of Sudanese nationality.
