An important circular for fish sellers in Aden


The Office of Industry and Trade in Aden called in a circular issued yesterday, Wednesday, the owners of fish selling beds to expedite the issuance of licenses to practice the profession through the competent authorities in the works offices in the districts (municipalities), and in coordination with the offices of industry and trade in the districts, noting that there are monitoring teams that will Follow-up and control operations and closing all unlicensed bedding within a maximum period of one week from the date of the circular.

In addition, a source in the Office of Industry and Trade stated that this circular came in implementation of the directives of the Governor of Aden, which stressed the importance of regulating markets and setting specific controls for fish marketing operations so that this food commodity reaches the consumer at a basic level and at acceptable and reasonable prices.

The source indicated that these procedures will be followed by other procedures, according to the results of the joint meeting, which was chaired by Dr. Rashad Shaye, the Undersecretary of Aden Governorate, and included the Director of the Office of Industry and Trade in Aden, Muhammad Al-Abadi, and the Chairman of the Fisheries Authority, Nasser Al-Nassi, which concluded with a number of measures and procedures, the most important of which is the commitment of the Commission. The fisheries determine a daily bulletin on the prices of fish according to the daily auction for sale in the central forestry market “Al-Dukair”, which has recently resumed its activity, and determine the profit rates and margins for sellers so that the price is circulated to the consumer in the local market daily in the various media.
