Hadi Jamaan, head of the Humanitarian Mediators Organization in Al-Jawf Governorate (northern Yemen), confirmed on Thursday the success of an agreement between the National Army and the Houthi coup militia to exchange a number of bodies of those killed in the confrontations in the governorate.
Jamaan said that in continuation of the local mediation efforts, on Thursday morning, he transferred 4 bodies belonging to the National Army after they were recovered from the Jadafer front in Al-Jawf Governorate, and they were delivered to the Marib Governorate and handed over to the families of the victims and the competent authority.
And a tweet monitored by the “Yemeni scene” added that 2 bodies belonging to the Houthi coup militia were removed from the Jadafer front and delivered to the city of Al-Hazm, the center of Al-Jawf Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthis.
And the local mediator, Hadi Jamaan, said earlier that, through local mediation, he was able to retrieve 6 bodies, which are a group of charred remains, from the Shahla front in Al-Jawf Governorate, and they were delivered to Al-Hazm Hospital after a journey that lasted more than 14 hours in the desert. He pointed out that the bodies belonged to the fighters of the Houthi coup militia.
