For the second day in a row, all exchange shops were closed in “Sayun” after the dollar price reached its highest level


The local authorities continue to close exchange shops in the city of Seiyun in Hadramout Governorate, for the second day in a row, after the exchange rates rose to record levels.

And local sources said that all exchange shops in Seiyun closed their doors for the second day in a row.

This comes in conjunction with news that revealed directions to the Central Bank of Yemen, to freeze the activity of more than 100 companies and exchange facilities in Aden in the coming days.

The Yemeni riyal continued to decline against foreign currencies, this morning, Thursday, as the price of the US dollar reached 1294 riyals, and the price of the Saudi riyal reached 340 riyals.
