Houthi attack on a Yemeni academic at Dhamar University

Today, Wednesday, the terrorist Houthi militia attacked a Yemeni academic at Dhamar University (central Yemen), as part of a series of violations of the right to education that continue in its areas of control.
Academic sources said that the professor of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry at Dhamar University, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Garafi, was attacked by a student gang belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia.
The sources pointed out that Al-Garafi was attacked amid complete Houthi silence and impunity for the aggressors.

It is worth noting that incidents of attacks on academics have been frequent in Houthi-controlled areas, the most recent of which was the killing of a doctor at the Faculty of Engineering at Sana’a University about two months ago.
