The Houthi coup militia committed crimes of murder, kidnapping and enforced disappearance of civilians during the month of October in Taiz Governorate (southwest of Yemen).
Today, Monday, a human rights report revealed 70 cases of violations against civilians in Taiz Governorate, committed by the Iranian Houthi militia.
The report issued by the Human Rights Information and Rehabilitation Center (HRITC), confirmed that its field team was able to document the killing of 20 civilians, including two women and 6 children, as well as the injury of 15 civilians, including two women and 3 children, as a result of the militia’s direct bombing of a number of populated areas, and as a result of mines.
He pointed to documenting two cases of kidnapping and enforced disappearance of civilians committed by the Houthi militia, in addition to its execution of a child.
He pointed out that 28 cases of violations of private property were monitored, including 7 completely damaged and 12 partially damaged, as well as 6 vehicles as a result of the indiscriminate shelling by the militia on residential neighborhoods and as a result of the landmines they planted.
The report touched on the levies imposed by Houthi leaders under various names, the latest of which is the pretext of the Prophet’s birthday, to raise funds.
