“Houthis” start the first practical step to replace “Bin Aziz”


Informed sources in the capital, Sanaa, said today, Saturday, that the Houthi rebel authorities have begun their first steps to replace Lieutenant-General Saghir bin Aziz and other figures.

The sources explained to the “Yemeni Scene” that the Houthi militia began preparing heads and members of committees to run complementary elections in a number of constituencies, to occupy seats in the House of Representatives instead of parliamentarians loyal to legitimacy, including Lieutenant-General Saghir bin Aziz, member of the House of Representatives, and head of the House of Representatives. The General Staff of the Ministry of Defense of the recognized Yemeni government.

The sources indicated that the militia began secretly training the electoral committees, without announcing this in the media.

In 2019, the militia held complementary elections, by force and of one color, for a number of vacant seats in the House of Representatives under its control in Sana’a.
