The southern fronts in Marib Governorate witnessed fierce battles and intense attacks by the Houthi militia, during the past hours.
Field sources said, this morning, Thursday, that the fronts, the forces of the National Army and the Popular Resistance, thwarted violent and intense attacks by the Houthi militias on the various fronts in Marib Governorate.
The sources pointed out that the militias pushed huge human numbers, and launched intensive attacks for three continuous days, in an attempt to achieve new progress on the southern fronts.
The sources confirmed that all attempts of the militias failed, and dozens of elements were killed and all Houthi groups were killed and injured, and those who escaped from the killing fled.
The sources indicated a strong support for the Arab coalition fighters, which resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of militia members and the destruction of reinforcements and military vehicles.
The Houthi militia announced yesterday evening, Wednesday, that it had received 25 air strikes by Arab coalition fighters in the districts of Al-Juba and Sirwah in Marib. The coalition also announced 29 raids in Marib and Al-Bayda, killing 90 Houthis and destroying 22 military vehicles.
