The National Army forces pushed, on Tuesday evening, large military reinforcements towards the front lines of the Juba District, south of Ma’rib Governorate (in the east of the country).
Field sources said that large military reinforcements for the National Army forces arrived in the Juba district, and made a big change on the battlefield.
The sources pointed out that several Houthi squads that tried to advance towards the National Army positions in the district were broken, forcing them to retreat for more than 2 km.
The sources indicated that dozens of Houthis were killed and wounded during the repelling operation, in addition to a large number of prisoners in the hands of the national army.
The sources confirmed that the National Army forces had regained control of sites where the Houthi militia was stationed in the same district.
Houthi groups had infiltrated a number of villages on the outskirts of the Juba District, and had fallen into the trap of the National Army.
