Huge military forces arrive in Marib in conjunction with the withdrawal of Saudi forces from Hadramawt


Today, Tuesday, field sources reported that trained and equipped military forces have arrived in Ma’rib Governorate to join the battle that their comrades are waging against the Houthi rebels.

The sources did not mention the type of those forces and the nature of the tasks they will carry out.

This comes in conjunction with the sudden withdrawal of Saudi forces at dawn today, Tuesday, from the Khalidiya camp in the Ramah district of Hadhramaut Governorate, and headed towards the Kingdom; According to media sources.

The recent period witnessed similar withdrawals of the Arab coalition forces in Mahra, Shabwa, Aden and Socotra, which the coalition forces called “repositioning.”

The spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Brigadier Turki Al-Maliki, said in a press statement, “The coalition is moving in the process of repositioning forces based on the operational and tactical assessment, which is a common practice in all armies of the world, and it is constantly happening.”

Al-Maliki indicated: “These moves are in line with the coalition’s strategy in the area of ‚Äč‚Äčoperations and within the framework of flexibility and alignment of military plans and in line with the coalition’s strategy to support the legitimate Yemeni forces.”

The heroes of the army, backed by the popular resistance and tribesmen, are fighting continuous battles against the Houthis, south of Ma’rib Governorate.
