The forces of the National Army and the Popular Resistance thwarted a Houthi encirclement of their positions in the Ma’la front in the Harib district, Marib governorate.
Field sources said that, today, Monday, the army, the resistance and the tribesmen thwarted an attempt to circumvent the militias on the Mala’a front in the Harib district, with the support of Arab coalition fighters.
The sources confirmed that the army and resistance forces managed to capture eight Houthi “crews”, including personnel and equipment, who tried to carry out a detour operation from the side of Ramleh, on the Al-Hajla Desert Road, where a video clip of the militia crews was monitored after their escape.
The sources indicated that a number of Houthi militants were killed during the failed operation, and others were wounded, and they were transferred to Ain Hospital and Harib Hospital.
According to local sources, fierce battles are taking place in the meantime in the Ma’a area of the Harib district, south of Marib.
In addition, the Arab coalition fighters launched about 30 air raids on Houthi militia sites in Marib Governorate, targeting 24 raids in the districts of Harib and Al-Juba, and six raids on the Serwah district, according to Houthi media.
