Israeli documents reveal a surprise about “Gaddafi’s” position on the October War… and financial support for “Sadat”


Israeli documents revealed the position of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi regarding the October war, and what he said to the late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat when he asked him for money.

The documents stated, “(Gaddafi) was angry and was pressuring Egyptian President Anwar Sadat in order to postpone the October war, according to the “Russia Today” website.

She pointed out that “(Sadat) asked for money from (Gaddafi), but the Libyan leader said, “He will not meet this request unless there is a ready plan, but the Egyptian president on his part did not want to present such a plan.”

According to the documents; Gaddafi said to Sadat: “Whatever you do, you will fail in this and that, and the war will be very fierce and will take a long time; So you should postpone the war until you are ready.”
