Germany booked the first qualification ticket from the European continent to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after defeating North Macedonia (4-0) on Monday.
Germany’s Kai Havertz scored the first scorer for the “Mainshaft” team at the 50th minute, and his fellow striker Timo Werner added two goals in three minutes in the 70th and 73rd minutes, before Jamal Musila concluded the German quadruple by the 83rd minute of the match.
The German team qualified for the World Cup finals in Qatar in the winter of 2022, after raising its score to 21 points, moving away from the top of Group Ten, 8 points behind its closest rivals, the Romanian team, just two rounds of qualifiers.
On the other hand, North Macedonia fell to third place in the standings with 12 points.
