Libya.. Saif al-Islam Gaddafi excluded from running in the presidential elections

Libyan media said on Wednesday that the judicial authorities decided to exclude Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi from running in the presidential elections scheduled for next month.
The “Eye of Libya” network quoted a special source as saying that the High National Elections Commission will exclude Saif al-Islam, son of the late Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi, from running in the presidential elections, for judicial reasons.
The Military Prosecutor in Libya, Major General Masoud Arhouma Miftah, had called for halting the nomination procedures for Saif al-Islam Gaddafi and Khalifa Haftar for the presidential elections.

Major General Arhouma, in a letter to the head of the High Elections Commission, referred to the issues of “Haftar and Gaddafi’s involvement in the killing of citizens in the Al-Sabi’a area by an armed group loyal to him, in addition to the involvement of aviation affiliated with the Libyan army led by Haftar in the bombing of the Military College in Tripoli, which led to the killing of 26 students at the Military College. “.
