Military and field sources revealed the map of control and the battles taking place between the National Army forces backed by the popular resistance and the Houthi coup militia in the Juba District, south of Ma’rib Governorate (eastern Yemen).
The sources confirmed the continuation of the battles between the government forces and the popular resistance on the one hand, and the Houthi coup militia on the other hand, on the outskirts of the Juba district.
The sources pointed out that the Houthi militia took control of the areas of Al-Qaher, Al-Rawda, Al-Khuwair, the “Wasit” area, where Major General Mufreh Buhaibah’s home, and the market area (Abdul Ghani station) in the Al-Juba district.
According to the sources, the government forces are re-positioning them in the “Abasid (Al Diab)” area, which is close to the “Al Jadeed” area, which includes the Al-Juba District Security Department.
The sources confirmed that the government forces still control 80% of the area of the district, while the Houthi militia has penetrated 20% of the outskirts of the district.
