Today, Monday, the Yemeni National Center of Meteorology issued the first warning of cold weather in five governorates during the next 24 hours.
He explained in his forecast weather bulletin, seen by “The Yemeni Scene”, that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, tending to cold during the early morning hours on the mountainous heights of the governorates (Dhamar, Al Bayda, Sana’a, Amran and Saada).
He pointed out that it is possible to form cells of convective clouds that may be accompanied by scattered rain in parts of the southwestern mountainous governorates and parts of the interior plateaus of the governorates (Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout) in the afternoon and evening periods.
He pointed to the possibility of scattered rain on parts of the western coasts, with relatively hot and humid weather on the coastal areas.
The Yemeni astronomer Muhammad Ayyash had expected the continuation of warm weather on the mountainous heights until the end of next October, with the possibility of tropical disturbances during the coming October and November.
