I think that there is a real problem in the public perception of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. This is what I concluded after a long contemplation and I leave the judgment to you.
In the beginning, let me tell you that I was a “whisper that I found with the incense of the Mawlids.” I sang for a long time in the Sufi celebrations in Ibb, and before that I listened to the Zaidi preachers in the mosques of Bab al-Qaa in Sana’a, and my life began as a Zaidi Asrbal.
In the summer of 1995, the Yemeni satellite channel broadcast an operetta on the Prophet’s birthday, written and presented by me and performed by the students of the orphanage, and directed by Mr. Abdullah Zanbour. I was just a graduate of Teachers High School, and my drinker was beginning to turn green.
I wrote a lot in praise of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and had the honor of seeing him twice in a dream, the last of which was in 2017, weeks before the birth of my son Muhammad, whom I named by that name in gratitude for that generous vision.
I read his biography and his Sunnah, and pondered for a long time the verses that determine his position in the general perception of religion, and because my specialization is Arabic, I often stopped at the meanings of the oral prayer vocabulary.
Yassin, the clouds shaded you with his wings
And the trunk was longing when the pulpit contained you

The Holy Qur’an stresses that Muhammad is God’s servant and His Messenger. Many of our perceptions insist on jumping from the part that he (His servant) is before (and after) his messenger, and this is within the Qur’anic concern that the nation does not descend with its final prophet as the Christians did with Jesus bin Mary, peace be upon them.
And if Christians celebrate the birth of Christ, it is because his birth was a miracle and an event different from nature, hence the keenness of the companions of the Prophet, after him, to make the day of his migration the beginning of the Islamic calendar and not the day of his birth. This is to emphasize the humanity of the Messenger and to block the path of attempts to invest in the family of religion, some of which we live in today.
Perhaps the celebration of his birth, may blessings and peace be upon him, differs in meaning from one place to another and from one group to another. For example, Muslims in Egypt are interested in commemorating the birth because they live alongside a large percentage of Copts, and they celebrate in a way that does not lead to political consequences for a family.
There is not a single source that confirms with certainty that the twelfth of Rabi’ al-Awwal is the date of the Prophet’s birth, while all of them, including Shiite references, confirm that this date is the date of his death!
Many perceptions deviated towards the Prophet and then towards religion. Some Sufis blurred the differences between the Messenger and the Messenger, and the Shiites intervened to change the meaning of the message, and the Prophet thus became a founding king. As a result, preferences emerged. Hosni or Husseini met the conditions, and in the Twelver conception, the centrality was transferred to the person of Hussein, and when the Ismailis moved it to Imam Ismail, it came to the invader Yahya Al-Rasi that he said to his followers, “If you follow me, you will not lose anything from the Messenger of God except his person!” Recently, the crazed poet Moaz Al-Junaid published a poem dedicated to Al-Houthi entitled “I see in you the Prophet”!!
The Holy Prophet has become like a registered trademark of a family and is no longer a prophet of mercy, and abuse by others has become a tool for mobilizing and inflaming feelings and diverting attention from crimes being committed. Such abuses can be exploited in a way that brings sympathy to Islam, and not make it a base for entrenchment and dogmatism.
In the eighties, writer Salman Rushdie issued his offensive book “The Satanic Verses” to cover up the scandals of Iranian-Israeli cooperation, and to increase the plot, Khomeini squandered his blood and gained popularity, and Rushdie is still alive today in the alleys of London!
Then the story of the caricatures began about 15 years ago, at that time Iraqi cities were annihilated, such as Fallujah and Ramadi, and the Abu Ghraib prison was filled with innocents, and not a single march along the Muslim line from Jakarta to Tangier, denouncing those genocides!
However, because of the cartoons, the Islamic street erupted, and the channels inflamed emotions, and there were deaths due to the stampede in the protest marches.. By God, they did not understand the purposes of religion or the Sunnah of the Prophet. I wrote about it at the time in Al-Nass newspaper.
I will summarize by saying that the dynastic doctrinal machine that made prayer upon the Prophet (and there is no doubt in its merit), a behavior that almost takes the place of the entire dhikr of glorification, takbeer, praise and forgiveness, it would not have done that without the entry of the family into the body of prayer and “whoever does not pray upon you has no prayer for him.” , as attributed to Shafi’i!! Likewise, were it not for the fact that Muhammad is the father of Fatima, I would not have found these people celebrating his birth, and the evidence is their opposition to his guidance, insulting his companions, slandering his wives, and most important of all, killing them to follow his religion.
Finally: I met about 10 years ago with Sheikh Ayed Al-Qarni in Sana’a and the poet Tariq Karman was present. Karman began reciting a poem in praise of the Prophet and hardly finished it. He was very long, and even more so, he said: Forgive me, I only read a part of the poem to you. A house!!
Sheikh Ayed replied to him: O Tariq, what is the need of the Prophet for your millennium poem, the predecessors and those who followed wrote great poems in praise of the Muhammadan self, and only a few wrote poetry about the divine self.
After a while from that meeting, Muhammad Abdo sang from the words of Al-Qarni the song “There is no god but God”, which is full of glorification of the divine.
