Saudi Al Hilal crowned the AFC Champions League title

Al Hilal Saudi Club crowned the AFC Champions League title after defeating the South Korean Pohang Steelers (2-0) in the final match that brought them together today, Tuesday, in the capital, Riyadh.

Saudi midfielder Nasser Al-Dosari surprised the South Korean team with a quick goal, which he scored at the 16th second of the match, with a missile shot that does not stop and does not respond from outside the penalty area in the left scissors.

Then, Malian striker Moussa Mariga scored the second “safety” goal for the Saudi team, by the 63rd minute of the meeting, which was held at King Fahd International Stadium.

Thus, Al Hilal won the prestigious Asian Championship title for the fourth time in its history, and held the record number of times to win the Asian Champions League title.

Al Hilal won its fourth title in the fourth final of the AFC Champions League, in the last 7 years.

The Saudi “leader” had won the continental title three times before, in the years (1991, 2000 and 2019), to break his partnership with the Korean team, which achieved this achievement three times, in the years (1997, 1998 and 2009).

Al Hilal SC won the honor of participating in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the UAE early next year.
