Saudi Arabia: Availability of circumambulation for non-pilgrims on the first floor of the Grand Mosque .. “3 times for permits only”


The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced that non-pilgrims would be allowed to circumambulate the first floor of the Grand Mosque, by adding an icon to reserve the circumambulation through the “Umrahna” application, as part of the gradual return efforts after easing the precautions caused by the Corona pandemic.

The official spokesman for the Presidency, Hani bin Hosni Haidar, explained that the Presidency, in cooperation with the authorities working in the Grand Mosque, has completed preparations to receive worshipers wishing to perform the Sunnah of the circumambulation on the first floor in three periods:

7-10 a.m., 9-11:59 p.m., 12-3 a.m., with the preparation of all services for the two sects through the distribution of drinking Zamzam water, continuous sterilization, and the preparation of doors, entrances and exits.
