Saudi Arabia reveals an agreement with the Southern Transitional Council


The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed an agreement with the Southern Transitional Council to support the legitimate government in order to restore the Yemeni state.

And the Saudi ambassador to Yemen said, in a tweet he posted on his personal account on Twitter: “Today (Tuesday) I and my colleagues met in Riyadh with the president and members of the Southern Transitional Council, and stressed the Kingdom’s endeavor and keenness to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement to unite ranks to support the efforts of the Yemeni government, especially in this regard. The critical stage to restore the state, achieve security and stability in Yemen, and end the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.

Yesterday, Ali Al Kathiri, spokesman for the Southern Transitional Council, said that STC Chairman Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and his accompanying delegation met today, Tuesday, with the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Muhammad Al Jaber, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and agreed on the need to move forward in completing the implementation of the “Riyadh Agreement” and mobilizing Efforts and directing them to confront the Houthi militias and terrorist organizations.
