Saudi Arabia warns of thunderstorms in 4 regions and active winds in 3 others


In its weather report for today, the Saudi Meteorological Center expected the continuation of the effect of active winds accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and a decrease in the horizontal visibility over parts of the eastern and central parts of the Kingdom.

The meteorological report indicated the continuation of surface wind activity on the coastal parts of the regions of Tabuk, Madinah and Makkah, while the sky will be partly cloudy with a chance of rainy thunder clouds on the heights of Jazan, Asir, Al Baha and Makkah.

The report indicated that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 25-45 km/h, and the wave height will be from one to two meters up to two and a half meters on the central part, and the state of the sea will be medium to wavy, while the movement of surface winds will be on the Gulf. Al-Arabi is northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, waves in height from one to two meters, and the state of the sea is medium.
