The army and tribes forces thwarted massive Houthi suicide attacks south of Marib, and inflicted the militias with losses in life and equipment.
Field sources said, today, Wednesday, that the army and resistance forces of tribesmen managed to thwart massive Houthi attacks on the Dhanna fronts, in Serwah district, southwest of Ma’rib Governorate.
The sources confirmed that the militias received heavy losses in lives and equipment, in light of the continuation of the battles, in the same area, for days.
The coalition fighters launched, at dawn today, lightning raids, on the rear of the Houthi militia fronts, south of Marib.
The militias have been desperate to achieve new progress towards Marib, despite the great human cost. During the past 48 hours, they have brought in huge reinforcements from Maysara Sarwah, Maysara Kofal, and the Khawlan areas in Sana’a governorate, through the transfer of the stake and Wadi Habbab, west of Serwah, to the Wadi Dhanna front, in the hope of achieving a breakthrough.
