The National Army forces, backed by the popular resistance, announced the defeat of the Houthi coup militia fighters from the Al-Kasara and Al-Mashjah fronts, west of Ma’rib Governorate (eastern Yemen).
The media center of the armed forces said that the army forces, backed by the popular resistance, today broke an attack by groups of the Iranian Houthi militia on the Al-Mashajah and Al-Kasara fronts, west of Marib.
He stressed that groups affiliated with the Houthi coup militia tried to infiltrate some military sites on the Al-Mashjah and Al-Kasara fronts, but they were unsuccessful, as the army forces backed by the resistance managed to confront and defeat the infiltrating elements.
He added that the battles resulted in the death of more than 16 members of the coup militias, the injury of dozens, and the destruction of two militia vehicles.
The army’s artillery targeted a number of militia positions, while the fighters of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy launched several air raids on separate locations in al-Kasara and Hailan, targeting gatherings and reinforcements of Iranian militias.
