The Central Bank of Yemen extends a new invitation to “suspended exchange companies and facilities”


Today, Sunday, the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden issued a new invitation to all exchange companies and facilities, which it had suspended in earlier times, from practicing their business.

In a communiqué published on his website, he called on the exchange companies whose licenses to practice their work have been suspended, to review the Central Bank at its headquarters in Aden, to complete the necessary procedures to resume its activity in accordance with the law regulating exchange business and other relevant laws and instructions issued from him.

The bank had suspended more than 80 companies and exchange facilities in the governorates of Aden, Marib, and Hadramawt, during inspections, for violating the exchange law and the measures it took to stop the deterioration of the currency.
