On Thursday, the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen carried out a new military operation against the Houthi coup militia in Ma’rib Governorate (eastern Yemen).
The coalition fighters launched more than 40 air raids on sites and gatherings of the coup militias, on the various fronts of the fighting in Ma’rib Governorate.
The Houthi militia admitted that its forces were subjected to a series of intense air strikes, which were carried out by coalition fighters during the past hours on the battlefronts in Marib.
Al-Masirah channel, speaking on behalf of the Houthi militia, said that coalition warplanes targeted 28 raids of militia sites and military reinforcements in the Madghal Serwah districts, west of Ma’rib.
Meanwhile, the coalition warplanes targeted 10 military reinforcements of the Houthi militia in Al-Juba district, and other raids targeted the militias in Al-Abdiya and Harib districts, south of Marib.
Military and field sources confirmed that the raids resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of Houthi militia fighters, and the destruction of a number of militia military vehicles on various fronts in Marib Governorate.
