The first official comment by the “Yemeni government” regarding Tariq Saleh’s call to resist the Houthis led by “Hadi”

Today, Saturday, the recognized Yemeni government welcomed the responsible speech of Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, who emphasized the unification of the National Front to resist the Houthis from the various components and political forces to restore the republic and the state under the framework of legitimacy led by President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi and the coalition to support legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In its meeting in the interim capital, Aden, chaired by Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik, the council praised the transitional council’s welcome of this call, and the importance of all working to unite the ranks to confront the Houthi militia and its Iranian project and to get rid of its danger to Yemen and the Arab region.

He stressed that the necessities and the imminent dangers require everyone, under the umbrella of legitimacy, to work with a united effort to win the fateful and existential battle for Yemen and all Arabs against the Houthi militia and Iran’s subversive project in the Arab region.

He pointed out that the government and the political forces and components it represents will have grave tasks that must be worked on from the ground, and in all political, military, economic and service files, and lead efforts aimed at strengthening cohesion and national ranks to win the battle to complete the restoration of the state.

The Council reiterated President Hadi’s call that every voice against the Houthi militia is our voice, and every hand that extends its resistance is our hand, and every gun that defends the homeland against the tampering of this militia is our gun, and the necessity of the people of Yemen aligning with the state to normalize the situation, and support the government’s efforts and local authorities.

He stressed that the imminent dangers should unite us all under the banner of the homeland, and find in the scale of war crimes, violations and terrorist acts committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia a motive for more cohesion and forgetting differences.

Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh called for unifying the ranks under the banner of legitimacy to restore the state and its capital, Sana’a, and end the coup of the Houthi rebels.
