The media center of the Giants Brigades on the West Coast revealed the latest developments in the military situation in the south of Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
The center said, this evening, Saturday, that the joint forces continued their advance and took control of the Al-Aden triangle, north of the Hays district, yesterday, Friday, amid the retreat of the Houthi militia, which suffered heavy losses in equipment and lives.
The center quoted a military source as saying that the joint forces managed to control the strategic Al-Aden triangle, north of Hays, which links the Hays district in Ibb governorate and the Al-Jarrahi district.
The source confirmed that the joint forces fought violent battles against the Houthi militias, in which various types of medium and heavy weapons were used, and dozens of people were killed and wounded, and a number of Houthi members were captured. Moreover, the militia’s military crews and vehicles were damaged.
He added that the joint forces managed to control areas and strategic mountain ranges south of Hays and west of Taiz governorate.
He said that these victories come within the framework of the plan to redeploy the joint forces in the areas outside the Stockholm Agreement.
A number of the western coast fronts are witnessing rapid developments, days after the sudden withdrawal of the joint forces from the city of Hodeidah and a number of its districts. The Arab coalition said that it was part of the process of redeployment and positioning outside the areas of the Stockholm Agreement.
