The Houthi militia writes its end and the Security Council gives the green light to the forces of Brigadier General “Tariq” to enter Hodeidah

Well-informed political sources confirmed that the Houthi coup militia wrote its end after violating the agreement to reposition and deploy in Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen).

The sources said that the Houthi militia’s violation of the “repositioning and proliferation” agreement in Hodeidah governorate will put the international community and the Security Council in the face of the Houthi militia before the world.

She explained that the agreement put the Security Council and the international community in front of two options, either forcing the Houthi militia to implement the agreement, or it would give the green light to the joint forces to enter Hodeidah and control its port and Ras Issa oil port.

The National Resistance Forces and the Republican Guard, led by Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, withdrew from several locations in Hodeidah, based on understandings led by the UN envoy Hans Grundberg, who visited the city of Mocha last Wednesday, and seeks to establish a green area that is not under the control of both sides, south of Hodeidah Governorate.

After the withdrawal of the joint forces, the Houthi militia took control of new sites south and east of the city of Hodeidah, in clear violation of the undeclared agreement sponsored by the UN Special Envoy for Yemen.
