The leader of the militia and a member of the so-called Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, said in tweets on his account on the micro-blogging site “Twitter”, which was monitored by “The Yemeni Scene”, that “the statements of the US Secretary of Defense regarding Yemen are a mixture of papers and a cover-up on the ongoing siege.” as he put it.

He added: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announces his support for his partners who lived with them in the common rooms to manage the war in Yemen; In reference to the Arab coalition in support of legitimacy, led by Saudi Arabia.

He continued, “We tell the Americans that you are participating in the war from day one, and the announcement of support is a cover up for not stopping it after Biden pledged to do so.”

And the US Secretary of Defense, Austin, said that “his country will help its partners in defending their airspace against the Houthi threats.”

He stressed that the Saudi forces are currently able to confront more than 90 percent of the missiles and drones launched from Yemen.
