Today, Sunday, the Houthi leader and a member of their negotiating delegation, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, condemned the bombing that targeted the convoy of the governor of the interim capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and the Minister of Agriculture in the recognized Yemeni government, Salem Al-Saqari, and left dead and wounded, including civilians, a journalist and a photographer.
Al-Ajri said in a tweet on his account on the micro-blogging site “Twitter”, which was monitored by “The Yemeni Scene”, that “the method of booby-traps in the streets crowded with civilians is a condemned terrorist behavior.”
He added: “The reform and the transitional are both worse than some, but the reform experience in booby-traps is rivaled only by al-Qaeda, and the transitional’s experience in regional bullying, and after every slap he receives, he directs his arrogance to the poor, the owners of stalls, groceries, and travelers from the north.” as he put it.
Al-Ajri’s comment comes in an attempt to deepen the gap between the two parties falling under the banner of legitimacy, in accordance with the Riyadh Agreement; This is what the Houthi militia leaders continue to perpetuate, in order to maintain their control.
The terrorist attack that targeted Governor Lamles and the Minister of Agriculture in the recognized government, Salem Al-Saqtri, sparked widespread Yemeni controversy on social networks, among hundreds of activists.
