The “Satellite Channel” in the capital, Sana’a, prevented the broadcast of resounding corruption scandals raised by the brother of “Abdul-Malik al-Houthi”, in a public session in front of the House of Representatives.
Member of Parliament, Ahmed Seif Hashid, said in a post on his Facebook page, which was monitored by “The Yemeni Scene”, that “the session of the Sana’a House of Representatives, which was attended by (the so-called) the (unrecognized) Salvation Government, in which Yahya al-Houthi, Minister of Education (brother) spoke. The leader of the militia) revealed in it some of the reality of the dire situation, and raised some issues of corruption, which were excluded from the broadcast, unusually in which the sessions of the Council are broadcast from the Yemeni satellite channel, which raised many questions…”.
Yahya al-Houthi had admitted that revenues are not supplied to the Central Bank in Sana’a, and that the government is flabby and robbed of its powers.
He stated that he had a report that he obtained after paying a bribe from the intelligence services, revealing the corruption of customs.
He accused the Minister of Finance of the unrecognized militia government of obstructing the educational process in Yemen.
