The Saudi judiciary issues an important decision regarding the Great Mosque of Mecca


Today, Tuesday, the Saudi Supreme Judicial Council issued a decision regarding the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

Sabq newspaper said, “The Saudi Supreme Judicial Council issued a decision approving the establishment of a judicial department in the Holy Mosque, defining its jurisdiction, its spatial scope, and the mechanism for conducting its work.”

The Council decided to approve the award of the Judicial Excellence Award to a number of judges of the courts of first instance with different qualitative competencies, based on the award rules approved by the Council.

The Saudi Supreme Judicial Council discussed several issues related to the functional affairs of judges, and took a number of related decisions, in addition to issuing other decisions related to judicial work.
