Today, Wednesday, the United Arab Emirates issued a new statement regarding Yemen and its “relationship with Israel.”
UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, in a statement during a tripartite meeting with his American counterpart Anthony Blinken and Israeli Yair Lapid, in Washington, DC, that his country does not want another Hezbollah to appear in Yemen, declaring its satisfaction. The Emirates on “our growing relationship with Israel”.
Al Nahyan announced that he would visit Israel soon, stressing that “it is not possible to talk about peace in the region in the absence of dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians.”
This comes in conjunction with the continued escalation of the Houthi rebels towards the city of Marib and its rejection of all calls and special efforts to end the war and bring peace to Yemen.
