The Yemeni army crushes a Houthi attack on two fronts, west of Marib

Today, Saturday, the Yemeni army forces, backed by tribesmen and fighters of the Arab coalition in support of legitimacy, managed to break an attack by groups of the Houthi militia on the Al-Mashjah and Al-Kasara fronts, west of Marib Governorate.

A military source confirmed in a statement to the Armed Forces Media Center that militia groups tried to infiltrate some military sites on the Al-Mushajah and Hailan fronts, but they were unsuccessful, as the army forces backed by tribes managed to confront and defeat the infiltrating elements.

The source added that the battles resulted in the death of more than 16 militia members, dozens of wounded, and the destruction of two militia vehicles.

The army’s artillery targeted a number of militia positions, while the fighters of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy launched several air raids on separate locations in Al-Kasara and Hailan, targeting gatherings and reinforcements of the militia.
