The Yemeni Football Association has reached a final agreement with Syrian coach Fajr Ibrahim to lead the first football team during the next stage.
Informed sources said that the union agreed with Fajr Ibrahim on all the details, and is awaiting a date for signing the contract in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The sources indicated that Ibrahim will lead the national team at the head of a full Syrian team, including an assistant, a fitness coach and a guard coach.
It is worth noting that the national team’s closest entitlement is the Asian playoff qualifiers for the 2023 Asian Cup finals to be held in the Republic of China.
Fajr Ibrahim is considered one of the most prominent coaches in Syria and has previously been a player and coach for Al Wahda Club and the Syrian national team.
